We get the within story on an all-natural nutrition strategy in Wisconsin that could revolutionize the way kids eat in school. One foremost physician group says this program is what each and every school district in the country need to emulate.
Retired military officers have mentioned that school lunches have produced American kids so excess fat that recruitment is down for the armed solutions. Fewer can meet the military’s physical requirements. 1 in 4 are ready to enlist for military services. Do you feel school lunches are a threat?

@AmericAWordsMatter Schools HAVE to provide food dipshit- our kids are there ALL day. And while they are there, they should have the opportunity to eat and LEARN about food that is good for their bodies and minds – don’t you got a Tea Party rally to go to?
@BebeBatechona True in that Barbara owns a business and it IS convenient for her. However, “if you expect students to start @8AM & then remove their only source of sugar & expect them to have energy your in denial” is false because you are replacing artificial sugar with carbohydrates and natural sugar which lasts longer and doesn’t cause you to collapse…and while I agree PARENTS are supposed to take care of their children it’s idealized and, very unfortunately not the reality.
@AmericAWordsMatter …Some students don’t have clean water in America, How would you like to be poisoned and die because government didn’t provide. Bring your own lunch and stop speaking on every one’s behalf or go to a private school, I mean no government means no free school.
Dang. I wish my school cafeteria had looked like that when I was attending school. The worst item on the menu was the fish sandwich with American cheese inside the fish patty. Yuke! Just recalling that memory gives me chills, ugh.
Oh man I almost want to go to that school! Those lunches look SO much better than ours..

when im at schools its hard to get fresh veggies or fruit because they are rotting aways and stuff
Upside down value system! Schools should be Schools, NOT OUR FOOD-CARE PROVIDERS! When I arrive at school, I should be able to get an education! Focus for schools should be the ever-increasing degradation of the education that is being provided! NOT, what we are EATING! When I graduate from school & have a JOB then I will be able to AFFORD my own GOOD foods! Working 2 jobs just to make “ends meet”, is mostly the problem! Who has time?! Enough GOVT programs ALREADY! SCHOOLS STAY OUT OF MY FOOD!
I bring my own food.

i REALLY wish schools can provide healthy hot lunches for students…. it’ll make everybody’s lives a LOT easier. but funding to public schools aren’t enough to improve the quality of the food so we’re still eating bad food no matter how “healthy” the schools tries to make it look

I think people should take the responsibility to pack their own lunches like I do.
I don’t like my school’s lunches. I started to bring my own lunch in sixth grade; I normally eat yogurt, some kind of fruit, and sun chips. It’s been like that for a couple years now and it hasn’t gotten old.
schools should not be in the restaurant business, they should provide education and thats it…if parents dont want to take the responsibility of packing their own kids lunches then they shouldnt have kids to begin with

it would be nice if my school was like that..our salad is all iceberg lettuce and it has ALOT of water and it tastes funny..
